$150,000 is up for grabs in the second annual International
and North Coast Nanotechnology Business Idea Competitions being
held in conjunction with NANO Week 2005.
Organized by Case Western Reserve University , the
competition attracts business ideas from leading
nanotechnology researchers and companies from across
the globe.
This year there are two competitions:
$75,000
will be awarded to winners of the International
competition.
$75,000
will be awarded to the top entrants from Northeast
Ohio or those entrants that agree to locate their
businesses in Northeast Ohio .

Semifinalists will be evaluated by a distinguished
panel of judges on Oct. 20. A final round of judging
and winners will be announced on Oct. 21 on the campus
of Case Western Reserve University .
Winners will be evaluated based on the idea's ability
to meet a market need.
What's it take to enter? A
five-page description of your business idea – not
a full-fledged business plan. And a $100 entry
fee.
