SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 3, 2005--Silicon Genesis Corporation
(SiGen) announced today that it has entered into a broad intellectual property
license agreement with Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. of Tokyo Japan (Shin-Etsu).
Under this agreement, Shin-Etsu will have rights to SiGen's NanoTec(TM) suite
of technologies and includes the purchase of SiGen proprietary equipment.
Shin-Etsu will use the process know-how to develop
and manufacture layer transfer substrates for opto-electronic
applications.
