HOUSTON--(BUSINESS
WIRE)--Oct. 6, 2004--AuGRID Corporation (OTCBB:AGRD)
have announced it has received from the United States
Patents Office, a preliminary acceptance notice on
its provisional patent filed last May. The Company
is now preparing and amending the final draft of the
full patent filing under each of its applications.
The Patent consist of several combinations of particle
design, based on the fundamental interaction and transport
of particles through various environments using sophisticated
techniques to unravel the transport and biological
processes taking place at the nano level.
AuGRID plans to provide a solution base and close
interaction with farmers to control the soil depletion
in agricultural states in the US and abroad. Depletion
of soil fertility -- along with weed, pest, and disease
problems -- is a major biophysical cause of low per
capita food production. The potential of genetically
improved crops cannot be realized when soils are depleted
of plant nutrients. AuGRID's basic principal is based
on reversing this condition.
AuGRID, which has
several products ready for launch, has initiated the
process to bring these products to market under patent
protection. As a first step, the marketing team will
target the multi-billion dollar home gardening industry
specifically industry giants, Home Depot (NYSE:HD),
Lowe's (NYSE:LOW) and Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT). Step two
will be to facilitate this technology to the network
of nurseries associated with the delivery chain of
pot plants to the retail environment including most
of the previously mentioned candidates. The products
will be marketed under the brand name, HydraDyne Systems.
An additional benefit
of the HydraDyne formula is a potential water retention
system to increase the limited productivity of coarse
soils by increasing the water holding capacity and
efficiency of water use by plants.
AuGRID Corporation
and its subsidiaries, Alysium Corporation and Optipure,
LLC, are technology-based organizations, specializing
in the manufacturing, distribution and development
of electronic and display devices, thermocouples,
silicon carbide tools and specialty industrial products.
