Toxin Guard™ comes to the army's defense

TORONTO,
PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive
and Armament Command, Armament Research, Development
& Engineering Center (ARDEC) and Toxin Alert Inc.
(TOX-V and TOXAF-OTC) announced today the execution
of a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement
(CRADA) for Diagnostic Packaging Materials which will
evaluate and further develop Toxin Alert's patented
Toxin Guard(TM) technology for purposes of military
packaging and homeland security applications.
Under the Agreement, work will be performed at the U.S.
Army's Picatinny Arsenal (ARDEC) in New Jersey, the
Toxin Alert Inc. headquarters in Toronto, ON, Mississippi
State University in Starkville, MS, and The University
of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS. Any new
developments or applications arising under the Agreement
will be utilized by the U.S. Army for military and defense
purposes, and by Toxin Alert for commercial purposes.

Earlier, Toxin Alert and ARDEC jointly submitted Toxin
Guard(TM) as a solution to homeland security concerns
outlined in a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) made by
the Technical Support Working Group (TSWG) for Combating
Terrorism.
